Newport Downtown Development today announced the release of a new, compelling promotional video designed to capture the heart and momentum of the city’s downtown revitalization, The Newport Initiative. The video highlights the unique partnership between local businesses, dedicated residents, and organizations like the Northern Forest Center, which are collectively building a vibrant and resilient Newport.
“This video is a love letter to Newport,” said Rick Ufford-Chase, Director of NDD and Mayor of Newport. “It captures the spirit of our people, the majesty of Lake Memphremagog, and the significant economic strides we’ve made. We specifically focused on showing the daily life and opportunities available within a 30-minute drive, proving that the best of the Northeast Kingdom is accessible right here.”
NDD encourages all local residents and stakeholders to view and share the video widely to amplify its message of progress and community pride.
This project was funded by Transformational Tourism, Events, and Regional Marketing (T-TERM) Grant through the State of Vermont.
