The Public Utilities Commission will be in Lowell this Thursday, December 11th at noon to walk the proposed Northland Solar project site.
Where to Park: Lowell Graded School or Town Offices Where to Meet: Walk to the site access drive across Route 100 (look for a sign or flag) Time: 12:00 pm
Be ready for snow, cold, and a full site walk—possibly including nearby properties and the cemetery. Dress warm and wear good boots!
This is a big moment for our town. Whether you’re supportive, opposed, or still deciding, your presence matters. Even if you don’t hike the site, showing up at the meeting point lets the Commission and developer know that Lowell is paying attention and engaged.
Live anywhere in the purple zone? That’s where the project could impact your view. And yes—that’s Route 100 running straight through the middle.
