Please join MWA as we remove invasive Phragmites along Lake Memphremagog at Gardner Memorial Park! This year we are expanding our efforts for invasive treatment into other lakeshore areas to prevent further habitat degradation. Come learn how to identify and properly remove these invasive species.

Please bring gloves, sunscreen, and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. Tall muck boots or waders are suggested as we will be working in the water. MWA will have a limited supply of male and female waders, so please bring waders if you have them. Hand pruners and snacks will also be provided.

Please park in the Gardner Memorial Park lot by the rink and we will meet by the dock off the lake at 10am on Saturday June 13th. Please reach out to Gabryel Gianoni at ggianoni@mwavt.org with any questions. Hope to see you there!
