Newport Outdoor Recreation and Downtown Planning Workshop

Community members are invited to help shape Newport’s future as a hub for four-season outdoor recreation in the Northeast Kingdom. This free, two-day workshop will bring residents together to share ideas and develop a strategic plan for the community, including what kinds of growth and development they would like to see.
The workshop is part of the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities program, supported by the EPA. Everyone is welcome to participate, whether for the entire workshop or just a portion.
Friday, October 16: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (program begins at 6 p.m.)
Saturday, October 17: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Gateway Center, 84 Fyfe Drive, Newport, VT
Admission: Free. Advance registration is encouraged but not required.
