Join Joanne Dennis of J Mountain Yoga every Tuesday at 9:30am-10:30am for a Gentle Yoga practice. Each class will offer you the opportunity to move, breath and explore the benefits of yoga in an informed and realistic way. Yoga is a practice, not a performance. By moving consciously into and out of postures while building strength, stability, and mobility, come develop a practice designed for longevity and overall wellbeing. All are Welcome. Props and Mats are available. Please register for class online as space is limited. $15 per person.

The Nest Wellness Studio is located at 194 Main St. in Newport, VT. It is on the third floor above Green Mountain Natural Foods. There is an elevator for accessibility.
About the Instructor:
Joanne Dennis of J Mountain Yoga is dedicated to creating opportunities for people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities to explore, understand and experience the benefits of yoga. She specializes in gentle, accessible, restorative, and therapeutic approaches that meet students where they are. Her teaching emphasizes balancing the nervous system, cultivating awareness of breath and body, and supporting long-term, sustainable well-being.
Joanne completed her 500-hour advanced yoga certification at Laughing River Yoga in 2017 and holds additional certifications in Restorative Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Pranayama. She is currently continuing her studies toward becoming a Certified Yoga Therapist through the Breathing Deeply School of Yoga Therapy.
