traveling to newport

By land, by air or by sea (lake actually).

From the top of Vermont to the bottom of our hearts, we’re looking forward to seeing you here. And Here is much easier to arrive at than you’d think. We’re conveniently located at the end of major highway systems on the US side, just 2 hours by car from Montreal and an easy sail or motor from Magog, on the Canadian side of our Lake Memphremagog, into Downtown Newport on the US side. We even have our own Northeast Kingdom International Airport which connects to major hubs here in the Northeast.

Whether you are a new visitor to our pristine piece of the Northeast Kingdom, a frequent vacationer, or a long time resident, it’s easy to get here and get around.
