A Night of Appreciation and Festivity for the North Country Hospital Family
This past Saturday night was one for the books as 275 staff members and their guests gathered at the Elks Club to celebrate a milestone of commitment and service at North Country Hospital. The evening was filled with joy, gratitude, and a strong sense of community as employees were honored for their dedicated years of service ranging from 5 to an astounding 45 years.
“We are betting on as well as counting on our future as the cornerstone of healthcare in the most rural part of the Northeast Kingdom,” announced President & CEO Tom Frank. “What better way to see that than with so many decades of commitment by our staff.”
The annual event, a longstanding tradition at North Country Hospital, not only honors the years of service but also recognizes outstanding employees through the VIP of the Year award. This year’s esteemed recipient is Dawn Murphy-Waters, a certified phlebotomist who has been a dedicated Lab Assistant in the NCH Laboratory for seven years. Dawn was selected from the past 12 VIPs of the Month, an honor bestowed upon employees by their peers.
The night was more than just an awards ceremony. Attendees enjoyed casino games, captured memories at the photo booth, indulged in a delicious hot appetizer buffet, and danced the night away to the live tunes of the band ETA. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air, making it a memorable evening for all.
