DESCRIPTION:Each year we gather and offer a challenging Half Marathon Run (with less challenging 10 k\, 4 mile\, 2 mile and 1 mile options) on dirt roads through the now world famous Dandelion Fields of Morgan\, Holland\, and Derby. We celebrate the coming of High Spring in the Kingdom\, honor the short life of Terri Weed\, and support Umbrella. It’s May! It’s time to Run! Just for the Fun of it. \nWe gather on Saturday morning at the Derby Beach House\, 220 4H Road\, Derby\, VT 05829. Start time: 9:00 am. We intend to offer pre-made sandwiches\, chips\, and water or Gatorade for lunch after the run. Musicians will be sprinkled throughout the course and back at the Beach House. On line registration closes on May 16\, 2024. Be nice to the judges\, as they have the prize power.\n*** You must be parked in the judging area (it’s clearly marked) in order to be judged- spaces are awarded on a first come first serve basis***\nTailgating: All-Day in Stateside Parking Lot\nDJ Ras1 will be spinning vinyl reggae sets outside from noon – 4p (as long as the weather cooperates)\nJudging for tailgate cook-off: 2p – 3p\nAprès Party from 4p – 7p at the Bullwheel Bar (top-level of the Stateside Day Lodge) with live music from WD-40s.
