DESCRIPTION:The time is coming when we must celebrate the change of color in the Northeast Kingdom with our annual Political Leaf Peeping. Join us on Sunday\, October 4 at 2 pm in our backyard with the sun\, or in our barn with rain. Bread and Puppeteers past and present will regale you with a variety of cantastorias\, hand puppet adventures\, fiddle tunes\, cranky shows\, and shape note songs. We will put bread in your belly\, garlic on your tongue\, and political puppet shows in your mind. We will end the afternoon with a presentation of our last show of the season in the Paper Maché Cathedral. Be sure to dress warmly! The Museum and Cathedral are not heated!\nAfter the show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli\, and Bread & Puppet’s “Cheap Art” – books\, posters\, postcards\, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale.\nPlease note that dogs are not permitted in the Paper Maché Cathedral.\nTickets: $15\, no one turned away for lack of funds. Admission by donation upon arrival for kids 12 and under.
