DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a public meeting on Thursday August 7th\, 5:30 – 7:00 at the Gateway Center\, about connecting the Newport Waterfront Recreation Path (aka Bike Path) and the Beebe Spur Rail Trail. There is also a virtual Zoom option at this link. \nThis meeting is the first step in a study about transportation and recreation\, safety\, route options\, and the potential for improved connections along these paths. All community members are encouraged to share your ideas. Click here for a map of the current paths. \nAlso\, please take the Bicycle Friendly Newport Survey\, open through October 5th– tell us how you feel about biking in Newport. \nWe hope that you can join us on Thursday August 7th at 5:30 at the Gateway Center\, 84 Fyfe Drive in Newport. Light refreshments will be provided.
