DESCRIPTION:This year\, we are celebrating 35 years of fostering environmental stewardship in the NEK\, and that means — a party! Friends old and new\, neighbors\, alumni: Please join our celebration on Saturday August 24\, with a free BBQ\, live music and camaraderie. All welcome!\nLooking for a fun volunteer hike? Join us before the party on Saturday morning at 10am to help us carry oak boards up Bald Mountain to replace the existing fire tower steps. Many hands make light work and a great opportunity to get some outdoor fun with friends! Please preregister for the hike at the link\, or by contacting us: marie@northwoodscenter.org.\nAfter that head on over to the NorthWoods campus from 3-6pm to relax\, enjoy some food and music and let us show off our latest campus updates.
