DESCRIPTION:Come together on Tuesday June 25th at the Eastside\, on Lake Memphremagog in Newport\, to show your support for the Crown Jewel of the Northeast Kingdom\, Lake Memphremagog. \nSponsored by Don’t Undermine Memphremagog’s Purity\, this event honors the significance of the Lake to our international lake communities and all efforts to protect the water quality of the lake for future generations. \nThe Mike Goudreau Band- featuring Eastern Township’s  Guitar hero Mike Goudreau and the NEK’s finest musicians- native son Gary Matthews\, bass; Gabe Jarrett on drums and Matt Dolliver on sax- will get you up and keep you dancing. \nFavorite food trucks\, Smokin’ Blue Devil and Runaway Tomato\, will kick off the event from 5-8. The band plays 6-9. \n“People care about Lake Memphremagog\, for its unmatched beauty and for the fantastic recreational opportunity it provides\, and as a cornerstone of our local economies\,” said organizer Henry Coe. “Every effort to protect the lake contributes to the quality of life for all of us\, locals and visitors alike.
