We will hear from four experts speakers about Forest Management in our area:

5:35 – Farley Brown, Faculty in Ecology, Sterling College, MWA Board Member: Historical Land Use in a Local Watershed – Setting the Stage for Forest Management of Today

6:05 – Jared Nunery, Orleans County Forester, Vermont Department of Forest, Parks, and Recreation. Forest management in Orleans County: what’s going on currently in the woods and how are Orleans County landowners managing their forests?

6:35 – Colleen Goodridge, President Goodridge Lumber, Vermont Forest Products Association, Vice-President: Sustainable Forestry and the importance of a strong Forest Products Industry

7:10 – Gabryel Gianoni, MWA Watershed Project Coordinator, MWA Forest Restoration Project Updates
