Centrally located, Gardner Park is one of the most well known parks in the city. This 20 acre space is home to softball tournaments, community concerts, farmers market, July 4th Celebration, Winter Festival, and much more! Adjacent to the mouth of the Clyde River, the park is a local hot spot for fishing, kayaking and picnicing. During the summer, the “Skate Shack” is now our boat and bike shack where you can enjoy boat rentals, as well as bike and e-bike rentals. The park is a popular picnic destination for many families with access to public grills, pavilion, and playground. By winter, the park is transformed into a fully functional ice skating facility.
