Felicia Updyke and her family recently moved to the Northeast Kingdom from Southern CA, and they love it here.
Felicia picked up some work as a deck hand on the Northern Star this summer, and in September the MCM Board of Directors invited her to become the full-time Director of this great organization that has become so important to Newport and the Memphremagog community.
Her job description includes covering all the details to prepare for the 2023 season on the boat, but also working on a pilot project to develop a Science and Education Center on the lake for school kids and their families in our area and visitors to the region as well.
We are thrilled to have Felicia join the Downtown Newport community!
