With white water rafting, farmer’s markets, and daily scenic plane rides and cruises, there’s never a dull moment in Newport, no matter what the season.  In the spring, break in your fishing pole, rollerblades or baseball mitt and bike down to Gardner Park. 

Summertime?  Canoe or Kayak the beautiful Lake Memphremagog or take a hike on our Kingdom Trails. 

Fall is a great time to view our foliage and to stop by the Old Stone House Museum to make apple cider.

And in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont our winter is never boring. Close-by to Newport you can hit the VAST snowmobile trails, make your way to Jay Peak Resort for great skiing and snowboarding, or visit the Northwood Stewardship Center for snowshoe rentals and great trails.
