Northeast Kingdom Farm to Yarn Tour Weekend

Northsong Spring Concert

Disc Golf Tournament

Art Journals and Sketchbooks Workshop

Learn some strategies to step beyond "blank page fear" and begin playing in your own personal art journal or sketchbook. We will explore a variety of "assignments" and consider the many purposes and rewards of this on-going activity.  You do not have to be an artist to enjoy this workshop.

Bring your own blank journal, purchase one at this workshop or consider joining us on April 28th with Mary Liz Riddle to make your own. Lots of pens and markers, paints, collage papers and glue, and assorted junque will be provided to enhance your pages.

The MAC Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a major exhibit for the summer tourist season.
 
“NEWPORT:  AN IMAGED PERSPECTIVE” will present the story of Newport through a combination of historic photos, stories, artifacts and new works of art created by area artists. 
 
The exhibit will open with a Gala Reception on Friday, July 6th from 5 – 8 PM at the MAC Center for the Arts. Downtown Newport, Vermont.

8th Annual August West

Now in it's 8th year, the August West Festival both celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead but also the community in and around the Jay Peak Area.  The Festival has grown a bit in size but the intent is still the same.  It's a great way to spend the day - kids and well mannered dogs are welcome.  There's lots of good food (including free Ben & Jerry's ice cream), and drink and plenty to do.
